Mark Wilson

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Wilson is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Commonwealth Foundation. He is responsible for accounting, finance, and other support functions.

Before joining the Foundation in 2021, Mark was the CFO for American Bible Society. Previously he served as CFO of two other Philadelphia-area nonprofits, and in various corporate finance roles for AmerisourceBergen, a Fortune 25 provider of pharmaceutical services with over $100B in annual revenue. He also has experience in mergers and acquisitions and internal audit. Mark began his career in the audit practice of KPMG.

Mark earned a BS in Accounting at Mississippi College and an MBA in Finance at Baylor University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mark and his wife Nathalie live with their three sons in Philadelphia’s western suburbs. Mark has served in leadership in his local church and volunteers with his sons’ Boy Scout Troop.
