In Pennsylvania, that’s exactly what’s happening, and it is the subject of our latest commercial. Public unions use taxpayer resources to collect their dues (which can be spent on politics) and PAC contributions (which can be given directly to candidates), allowing union executives to spend these funds on a variety of political purposes.
Both voters and union members believe this unfair political privilege must end. Government unions are the only private political groups who receive this special treatment. Paycheck protection would close this loophole, bringing fairness to the political process.
