Call me Ostrich, a ruffed grouse or anything you like, Mr. Conti, but don’t call me and nearly 70 percent of Pennsylvanians satisfied with the PLCB’s iron-fisted control over the liquor sales business.
But according to a story in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the dogmatic Don of Dom said Thursday that the impetus for getting government out of the booze business is from policymakers, not consumers, who, he said, “stopped grousing about the state stores years ago when prices, selection and service improved.”
Is there no respect for my fellow fowl and most honored state bird? Better yet, how about for the taxpayers and consumers of Pennsylvania who have said it’s time for Barons of Bordeaux to go?
Pay no attention to the man behind the iron curtain as this is just more propaganda from the Wizards of Whine. According to their “business plan,” the beatings will just continue until morale improves! Until then, stay thirsty my comrades.
