PLCB: One Bourbon, One Scotch, Two Bills

In a massive money mishap that would make Delaware Destroyer George Thorogood mad to the bone, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s latest snafu comes at, not surprisingly, the customer’s expense.

As ABC-27 reported, it seems the duplicitous Dukes of Daiquiri double-billed 55,000 customers for purchases made prior to Thanksgiving.  Accurate accounting?  Customer service?  I guess they don’t have an app for that

This double shot of fail comes as no surprise to those who have watched the languishing liquor lords pour taxpayer money down the drain at every turn.  And as the beleaguered booze bosses brag about “modernization” as a means to move more mediocrity, taxpayers and customers wait for lawmakers to set them free.

A PLCB spokesperson said no personal data was compromised, but made no comment about compromising freedom.  While the agency dreams up its next great fail: Move it on over death and taxes, you have company in one of life’s certainties.  Until then, stay thirsty my comrades.
