Is Mackey Wacky?

In August, John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods, penned a Wall Street Journal piece outlining his ideas for health care reform – these include equalizing the tax code, interstate competition, reducing the number of mandate, Medicare reform, and allowing charitable contributions to health care for the poor. Because his proposals differed from Obama, he has been labeled an evil, greedy capitalist, and attacked by unions and other special interest groups.

A new ReasonTV video, featuring one of Toni Basil’s most popular tunes, takes on the attack on Mackey that he treats his workers unfairly.

Reason also features an interview with Mackey.
