Turnpike Commission stalling on I-80 tolling application

While Governor Rendell wanted to get a revised application for tolling I-80 to the feds by the end of the week, so he could ask for an expedited answer and give lawmakers a better idea of the prospects as they consider a Turnpike lease, the Turnpike Comission wants more time.

Note that the feds sent their list of questions to PennDoT and the PTC in December, 2007. Something tells me the Turnpike Commission will be ready to respond right after the lease bid expires.
