Milton Friedman Resolution Passes!
Without drawing much attention, given all the attention going to the state budget and the transportation funding plan, we scored a legislative victory of sorts. Late last night the Senate unanimously passed a resolution honoring the contributions of Milton Friedman in advance of what would have been his 95th Birthday (July 31). Sen. Piccola sponsored the resolution.
To commemorate Milton Friedman’s Birthday, the Commonwealth Foundation and REACH Foundation are co-hosing Pennsylvania’s Friedman Legacy for Freedom Day events on July 31 from noon – 3. The Milton and Rose D. Friedman Foundation is sponsoring the event.
