Commission on State Government Pay Proposed
Rep. Ron Marsico is proposing a commission to examine compensation of state officials.
Now while proposing a commission doesn’t seem controversial, consider that in nearly two years since the pay raise, with all the stories about public officials’ salaries, pensions, benefits, bonuses, and perks, this idea hasn’t been propose before. Obviously a commission of non-state employees might give a different assessment than John Perzel and Ralph Cappy.
