Gaming board: Losers Pay Too
The PA Gaming Control Board, is demanding that the applicants who did not receive a slots license pay $84 million, reported by the PA Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
In other words, you have the right to apply for a license to have a local monopoly. If you don’t win, you can appeal the decision–but it will cost you more than the cost of the license itself.
I’m a little worried now about the price for second-guessing the Gaming Board.
