PHEAA reveals spending records

After a lengthy legal battle, the Patriot News finally got some financial records from PHEAA, a state agency which had claimed to be exempt from open records laws. Though some of the information-names of restaurants and recipient of expenditures (which could include the lawmakers on their board)-was blacked out, it it still revealed expenditures such as “chartering a Lear jet, buying tickets to a Yankees-Orioles game and renting a tuxedo,” as well as many fine dinners and hotel expenses.
