$13,000 fees for new homes?
The Patriot News reports on a PA House committee hearing on charging impact fees on new homes – of $13,000 per home – in growing areas. Why would we even consider a proposal that raises the cost of building a home, discourages growth, and makes Pennsylvania even less attractive for new residents? The old standard “more money for government” philosophy.
