“Living in an alternate universe”
The Brownsville Area School District recently voted to give administrators some retirement benefits that no private sector would even consider–Nine years of free healthcare insurance for retiring early.
As The Herald Standard correctly notes:
“The only place such economic frivolity continues to exist is in the public sector, where such spending is attached like a kite string to taxpayer wallets. It would be easier to find a unicorn mating with a Dodo bird on the Browsville Wharf than to find a private employer in Fayette County offering a deal like this, one so sweet it could practically rotten your teeth on impact.”
