Endorsing Obama = End of Corruption
Wall Street Journal article on Barack Obama’s support for reducing oversight of the Teamsters. Says Obama, “organized crime influence in the union has drastically declined.” (HT Amanda Carpenter).
I suppose this is because the Teamsters recently promised to stop using guns and knives during protests, or because the feds indicted the last of the Teamsters-mafia connections in February, or because embezzlement and extortion is a thing of the past.
