Commonwealth Foundation Announces Guy Ciarrocchi as New Policy Fellow

May 12, 2023, Harrisburg, Pa. – Former congressional candidate and president of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, Guy Ciarrocchi, has joined the Commonwealth Foundation as a fellow, where his work will focus on policy and outreach, with an emphasis on expanding educational opportunity.

Ciarrocchi has spent decades in private sector and government leadership positions, championing small business, free enterprise, and policies allowing Pennsylvanians to flourish. Lawmakers, the media, education advocates, and the public at large will benefit from Guy’s insights and experience, according to Commonwealth Foundation’s Senior Vice President Erik Telford.

“Guy Ciarrocchi is a dynamic leader who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Commonwealth Foundation, where he will continue his work to ensure that all kids have access to an excellent education,” Telford said. “Guy’s passion, well-established relationships, and policy acumen are invaluable to our efforts to expand opportunity, improve lives, and empower all Pennsylvanians to earn their own success.”

A lifelong Pennsylvanian, Ciarrocchi graduated from St. Joseph’s University and Villanova Law School, later serving as a Deputy Attorney General. Preceding his fellowship at Commonwealth Foundation, he worked as Chief of Staff to several elected officials and served as Director of Public Affairs for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

“I have dedicated my life to fighting for school choice and other important issues that help children and adults reach their potential—and, to create opportunities for our economy to grow and to create jobs,” said Ciarrocchi.
