Later Tax Freedom Day
The Tax Foundation released their annual Tax Freedom Day® Report yesterday. The bad news: it will take Pennsylvanians 117 days to pay off their taxes, making our Tax Freedom Day April 27.
This is one day longer than last year. Pennsylvania also moved up (as in the wrong direction) in rankings from 22nd to 21st highest tax burden.
Note: The Tax Foundation updated their 2006 data, so my original post contained some incorrect comparisons to past years.
