Another Commercial Produced by PA Government

I caught another TV commercial produced by Pennsylvania state government the other night. This one is intended to scare viewers who are thinking of committing insurance fraud…and make the rest of us chuckle.

The ad was produced by the PA Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority. The IFPA collects $12 million in assessments on insurance companies (note that they claim they do not use taxpayer dollars, but that’s only if you don’t consider a mandatory assessment on insurance companies a tax), spending $10 million on law enforcement and $2 million on ads like this.

Note, since the actor playing the husband is the source of the YouTube clip, I will pay him the complement of saying, not since Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves costarred in Point Break, has one actor so owned another.
