2021 PA State Budget

Pennsylvania received in $7.2 billion in one-time federal funds for lawmakers to appropriate. Instead of back-filling bureaucracies that overspend, a good budget puts kids and communities first. A good budget empowers parents by expanding educational opportunity; spurs hiring via small business tax relief, limits on government spending, and regulatory relief; and spends responsibly by paying off our unemployment insurance trust fund debt. Lawmakers’ priority must be finding ways to help Pennsylvanians permanently recover lost learning, and lost livelihoods.
