Education Spending Myths vs. Facts

In his recent budget address, Gov. Wolf continued to push the myth that the previous administration cut a billion dollars in state education spending and our schools remain underfunded. His allies in the teachers' unions are eagerly spreading this falsehood.

However, Wolf’s own education secretary has acknowledged that the legislature never voted to cut education funding and that Pennsylvania spends much more than the national average, per student.
