County Commissioner: “Listen to the Commonwealth Foundation”

“The governor and legislators should seriously consider the reports from the Commonwealth Foundation which provided information on how Harrisburg could address the state’s financial situation”

That quote comes from Fayette County Commissioner Angela Zimmerlink in a Herald Standard article. The focus of the article is county commissioners upset about the state imposing unfunded mandates on local government – such as the 2005 law which required full-time district attorneys (and “required” the state to pick up 65% of the tab), which was not funded.
