More on cutting PA Taxes

Press Enterprise editorial on the proposal to cut the income tax in Pennsylvania:

You won’t hear anything even remotely like it when Big Ed makes his annual budget presentation to the Legislature in about a month.

He’ll talk about new “programs,” new “initiatives,” new “visions to keep Pennsylvania moving forward,” all of which are just euphemisms for new schemes by the political class in Harrisburg to take and spend your money.

They’re already taking way too much of it. The Commonwealth last year took in about $650 million more in tax revenue than projected.

They call it a “surplus”; a better term: “over-taxation.”
