PHEAA chief asked to step down

Jan Murphy in the Patriot News on the more abrupt forced resignation of Dick Willey from PHEAA, follwing the Auditor General’s preliminary report. Apparently even board members like Rep. Bill Adolph and Sen. Sean Logan are mad – either they’ve had a “road to Damascus” conversion, or are just upset they weren’t invited to Hershey Park – calling for reduced perks and for PHEAA to stop acting like a private company (see Pennsyltucky Politics for more).

Also: Tony Phyrillas applauds Dick Willey’s departure, but thinks the board should join him.
