Price of Candy is Up!
So I went to our office snack tray to buy an afternoon snack and notice that the price had gone up, and there was a note about the price of candy increasing. A quick web search identified the culprit. You guessed it — Ethanol.
The same Ethanol than Gov. Rendell is laying off state workers so that he can subsidize. The same Ethanol that President Bush and Congress have mandated we buy and have placed tarriffs on imports to keep prices high.
