Public schools hate competition

There’s a great bumper sticker that says, “Don’t Steal. The Government Hates Competition.” The public schools are no different. They hate competition too, and that’s why they want to reduce the amount of money cyber schools receive–which is already only 80% of the regular district per-pupil cost.

In other words, district schools want to keep more than the 20% they currently keep from students THEY NO LONGER HAVE TO EDUCATE. As more and more parents are choosing cyber schools for their children, it is no wonder the government schools hate competition…and are trying to do all they can to hinder them.
