State Legislatures Compared

The Empire Center in New York has compiled a few tables looking at legislative pay and budgets. What is most troubling as Pennsylvania is concerned is not so much the number of legislators (2nd most) but the legislative budget per-member – also 2nd, as we spend over $1 million per lawmaker for legislative operations alone.
