Business Climate Attitudes Remain Low

The Lincoln Institute of Public Opinion Research released its Fall 2006 Business Climate Survey, a survey of business owners and managers. Overall, attitudes about the PA business climate remain somewhat negative, and recent business tax cuts and property tax relief were generally viewed as insignificant.

Additionally, 28% of respondents stated they would hire fewer workers because of the state’s increased minimum wage beginning next year.
