Pa. courts say judges’ pay will rise with feds
AP Report that court adminstrators say PA judges pay are now tied to federal judges. While this differs from my reading of the court ruling on cost-of-living-adjustments, and would alter our calculation of judges’ pay (the Treasurer’s office has yet to issue its ruling) what I find most intriguing is this:
“A bill that would give federal judges a 16.5 percent pay increase is currently pending in Congress.”
Which would mean another massive pay increase for PA state judges.
