Dozens of Tea Parties Coming to Pennsylvania

TEXT SIZE A A A

In conjunction with the Tax Day Tea Party Movement, the Commonwealth Foundation is organizing another  Harrisburg Tea Party, to be held on the Capitol Steps at noon on April 15.  There are are now tea parties planned in 300 cities on tax day.

We are also helping to promote events across PA; as of today there are 19 Tea Parties planned in Pennsylvania, including some on other dates. We have created a new website to list and map all Pennsylvania Tea Parties

In conjunction with the Tea Party, we are coordinating a "We the People Food Drive" to convey a positive message: that “We the People” can meet the needs of our community—without government intervention.

Please consider bringing items to donate to the “We the People Food Drive,” which will support Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg. The Mission needs canned goods, cereal, pasta, rice, coffee, and men’s deodorant. The Commonwealth Foundation will provide drop off boxes the day of the Tea Party.
