Well is this the plan to silence the right, Well the elitist defeatist have made one huge mistake by playing the tactics of the 60's blaming tea party member who could care less what color someone is. Speaking for my self as a tea party member I look at the red and the lack of any kind of shame from them on scewing three hundred million to help 30 million Pre existing conditions and other parts of there bill could have been corrected so much easier then running up the take over of healthcare. I would like to see tea parties from across the country go after the sponsors of there far left media/Propaganda wing who has run story after story about the racist tea party as a whole all the letters of the A to Z talking heads there sponsors are easy to find on there web sites: inform, boycott :and if necessary picket with large rallies of tea party groups from across America. UN like all the clowns on the left we who believe in the law and Constitution have a vast power that is we have worked our entire lives and buy there products or Not, That is the power we have! Any station who as been running these videos over and over with not one sound bite showing anyone calling any body anything or using slow motion break downs of nothing. Not to mention the lies that tea party is all white they go out of there way to show it that way. Also any group on the right needs to watch for far left trouble makers in the mix or snakes in the grass .Start using videos cameras through out the rallies contact your local tea party and spead the word inform boycott and last picket the money. Have a plan if a snake is in your group, Much less any nut who might be there regardless of his motives.spread the word

Meditrac, all you have done is reinforced my comment about strongarming. Citing statistics from a poll and telling me that majority rules in spite of what I think, rendering my opinion as totally irrelevant because the majority has a different opinion than mine. Number one, polls may be skewed to support or oppose an issue depending on the individuals polled and the area from which the poll is taken. And if everyone subscribed to the belief that the majority is always right our shipping routes would be severly limited due to the fact that we might fall off the edge of the earth.

The bill is pasted quit wasting more tax payer money on something that has been pasted by the majority of people that you put in office. remember polls are not votes that put people into office.

to eddie1247, 62% of the population disagrees with the Obamacare plan. I would think that is a rather clear majority. Nobody is telling you that can NOT express your wishes or desires or is trying to suppress them, but when it comes to implementing laws in the type of society that is the US, the majority wins (or at least it should). Nobody is trying to strongarm anyone here and this forum is exactly what is available so that YOU TOO can express your opinion, wishes, and feelings.

No Hans you are missing the point, this may be your wish but not necessarily the wishes of everyone else. There is a segment of this state and society at large that views this healthcare bill as something that will benefit those American people that have been unable to secure affordable healthcare. I am tired of people trying to strongarm their views onto everyone that disagrees with them. Talk about ignoring the wishes and the will of the people I too have an opinion and am entitled to express it whether you agree with it or not.

Here is what I meant to link to, in which Evans does indeed threaten to cut off the AGs funding:

As for the costs, we champion transparency in gov't spending (that would include Mr. Evans and Mr. Rendell's spending), but I'm not convinced a lawsuit will cost the state much, if anything. There is no investigation involved, it will simply be an argument over the constitutional grounds of the law. Send a clerk over to a law library for a day.

Once again, you are missing the important point: It is NOT about the funding of the suit, IT IS ALL ABOUT the fact that our elected officials are IGNORING the will and wishes of the PEOPLE. The folks in Harrisburg appear to think that they have ABSOLUTE power to do as they please and ignore the will of the people that put them in Harrisburg.

I don't see this as a threat to cut off funding. He is simply asking the Attorney Generals office to offer estimates as to the cost of pursuing this lawsuit. Where is this money coming from? When the Attorney Generals office was stretched to the limit from budget cuts before, how will this lawsuit be funded. To be perfectly honest I would like to know the answer to that question also.
