The Real Problem with the Specter Library

Why should Abington Township, one of the wealthiest in Pa. get 12 million? Another library with the Abington Library being one mile away, this is an obvious LANDGRAB by power hungry politicians!!!

They want to commemorate these people; maybe they should commission a sculptor for statues of these people. Erect them high on a pedestal where they thought the belonged in downtown Philly and Johnstown. After a while the pigeons will do to them what they did to us!

I would have thought such projects would be fundraised the old fashioned way--with bakesales (haha)not taxpayer dollars. Where do I sign up --I would like to set up the Gretchen Homestead Project to help keep my family afloat during these tough economic times! Geez---someone needs to hold the government accountable---I vote for a frugal homemaker mom who has to somehow balance their budget, put meals on the table, clean the house, take the kids to soccer and still work a "regular" job!

Great article exposing a truly criminal abuse of Pennsylvania taxpayers. The RACP should be done away with before it kills this State.
If the next Governor and Legislature disavow corporate special interests (i.e., craven corporate beggars) they will end this travesty.
