There's nothing new, or unusual about these So called environmentalists attacking the Natural Gas industry. They have a long history of attacking every legitimate alternative to Coal, and OPEC oil we've ever come up with. In fact since the EPA, and DOE, began in the 70's our use of OPEC oil has tripled. That's why I caLL "environmentalists" OPEC WARRIORS

Who benefits from opposing Gas drilling in pa? (or all domestic energy production. Why it's OPEC! Don't you think it's possible that OPEC is behind this opposition?

How can any drilling process have no adverse environmental impact? That goes against sheer logic, by the nature of drilling.
Interesting to see who the powerful rich lobbies are that stomp all over the poor little gas companies.

There are companies capable of drilling using technologies and processes that are safe, reliable and with no adverse environmental footprint. @uberconsultant

One connection you missed.
Heinz Foundation funded, Clean Water Fund through their public unit, CLEAN WATER ACTION, founded GAS TRUTH of Central PA that organized the anti-Gas protest against Gov. Corbett during his Inauguration in January.
Most of the protest rallies in Harrisburg around natural gas in 2011 have been organized by Clean Water Action's Harrisburg office.
