Cost-Saving Ideas for Pennsylvania State Budget

R Plavo,
You finally asked the right question. Individuals need to understand that the government isn't who we should rely on in those problems. Our money is wasted on projects and not used for the correct public services in which government was created for. Government was created to provide law and civil order, and protect our rights from other nations. People have forgotten this.

Mr Benefield certainly presents a good number of ideas that have merit; but I question the ideological statement about paying taxes=less money to spend on investment, etc.....well, less taxes, yes, does that mean we have less probation officers?....less prison guards?....no bus transportation forour school children?....and money that people will have to invest in south carolina for a second home?....the foundation calls for less government....well how do we do that when everyone looks to the government whenever a calamity occurs, like the snow storms, oil spills, water pollution?...
