Nice work, Nathan, and anyone who thinks you are a partisan hack has not read your voluminous and very factual analyses which follow the numbers.

I stand by my comment.

Dude,
You refuse to engage - I pointed out several instances where I cited Republican misspending and named names, you ignore them.
You continue to call me "DISHONEST" and FRAUDULENT" - essentially yelling "You Lie!" without pointing out a single dishonest or fraudulent thing I wrote.
And you ignore the premise of the article - things taxpayer money is being spent on - refusing to answer the question whether you support or oppose them, instead attacking me personally.

I disagree with the title "An Honest Debate" Your article is a partisan attack - same old stuff. If you changed the title, say, "I hate Rendell" or "Dems suck" I might disagree but I would have no problem with it. Or you could expand the article a little - name names on the GOP side of the aisle that would give it some balance. It's nothing personal - the issue here is the writing. As it stands - this is a dishonest, fraudulent piece of writing -essentially propaganda.

Right in the middle of the list I take on Joe Scarnati (who is both Lt. Governor and leader of the PA Senate):
Lt. Governor Joe Scarnati pushed a special election for a vacant senate seat - estimated to cost taxpayers between $250,000 and $400,000 - slightly more than one month before a regularly scheduled election.
I fixed the link to the consulting deal contract.
Yes, I cite Rendell a lot, but quite frankly, he is the one making almost all of the decisions as to where money will go. Though you'll not the original handouts to Harley were made by Tom Ridge.
The Auditor General - cited for his investigation of wasteful Medicaid spending - is a Democrat.
Republicans are equally guilty of using per diems, and are cited as such in that article.
Yes, only Democrats are cited under WAMs - but so far, only Democrats have been indicted/convicted on counts of using WAMs.
Again I ask: What is DISHONEST? What is FRAUDULENT? What do you disagree with? Or do you just want to personally attack me?

and now for the facts
I see no mention of Senate GOP
in your article.
Rendell is mentioned 11 times?
There are also various shots at Democratic reps, the Democratic controlled House.
Almost all the links lead back to Democratic politicians - one a Mr Reed is referenced twice - poor proofreading I presume. This is a poorly written, piece of fraudulent partisan dishonest drivel masquerading as some sort of journalism.

You've got to be kidding me.
You are so bored with the article you have to write "Yawn"?
Right smack dab in the middle of article I call out Senate Republicans for wasteful spending they have sole control over. Did you even read it? And of course, those who vote for a budget laden with pork (including almost every Senate Republican) should share blame for this pork.
But where have I not been honest? These are all recent examples of wasteful state spending, all well-documented.
Do you think taxpayers should be forced to pay for them or not? Do you think we need higher taxes to keep this up or not?
Let's have an honest debate about that, instead of your ad hominem attacks.

yawn! yawn! whine! whine! same old partisan political nonsense.
An "honest debate" ya gotta be kidding - did you even mention your GOP pals in the State Senate? They'be had a role in this too. there's plenty of blame to go around if you think blaming is the way to go, at least spread it around.
