Sunshine Review is a website where you can go to rate your local county, city, town or school district's website transparency.  Sunshine Review's transparency checklist is based on what content is provided to you, like budgets or contact information.

Sunshine Review also offers information about state and local government budgets, public employee salaries, Right-to-Know laws, corruption news, and more.  Pennsylvania residents can start with by checking out the Pennsylvania Portal.

This is called affirmative disclosure, which means that just like Nutrition Facts, we should know what is going into our local government.

The website uses the wiki platform, so anyone can fill out a checklist or contribute to Sunshine Review.  That is, Sunshine Review relies on citizens to report and provide information on their government.

To find out how, watch Sunshine Review's video tutorials.
