Lawmakers Challenge Obamacare’s “Most Harmful Provisions”

On Tuesday Rep. Gordon Denlinger sent an updated version of a letter to Governor Corbett urging against the creation of a state exchange and expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Both would require significant new state costs. The letter was signed by 48 members of the Pennsylvania House, three more than the original letter, sent in July.

Pennsylvania is one of ten states uncommitted on state exchanges, while Gov. Corbett has indicated the Medicaid expansion is unaffordable but has not made an official decision.

Now is a good time to call your lawmakers and thank them for taking a stand, or encourage them to take a position against these harmful provisions that will increase the cost of health care.
