Non-Competitive Contracts Don't Compute

Accenture isn't just local. They're big. IIRC, they originally were one of the big 8 accounting firms, while Fast is, well, someone nobody ever heard of.

I don't know whether Fast is good or not, but a significant number of programming projects are never finished, but are instead abandoned. Some of that is due to the company changing its mind, again and again, about what they want. In a number of cases, the person responsible for the project moves to another job, and the new guy kills the project because he considers it a bad investment.

As I mentioned, I've never heard of Fast, but on the surface of it, if given a choice between someone with a track record of success, and a new company, I'd say a 20% higher figure for the safe choice is the better bargain.
