The Commonwealth Foundation accepts application for full-time and part-time interns in the summer, fall, and winter/spring semesters.

Ideal candidates will have an interest in public policy, be articulate, well-organized, familiar with state politics and policy, understand basic research methods, be an excellent writer, and eager to advance the cause of personal and economic liberty. Public policy, political science, economics, history, and pre-law majors are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicant should embrace the core principles of a free society, share the values of the Foundation, and be capable of excelling in an intellectually stimulating and fast paced work environment.

The Commonwealth Foundation is excited to be a part of the 2008-09 Koch Associate Program!   

We're working with the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation to find candidates for up to three positions at the Commonwealth Foundation.

Program Overview: The Koch Associate Program is a year-long, paid program designed to develop promising leaders and entrepreneurs interested in liberty and a career in the non-profit arena. Associates range in experience level from recent graduates to those with up to a decade of work experience, and come from diverse fields and academic majors.

Research and Writing Opportunities

The Commonwealth Foundation is always seeking qualified researchers and writers to contribute to the work of the institute. University professors, as well as non-university economists, attorneys, and other specialists are invited to inquire about assisting with research and writing opportunities on both a paid and pro bono basis.
